Listed in the Lithuanian Book of Records as the largest sculpture of an animal: about 15 m long and almost 7 tonnes.

The Iron Fox stands on the southern shore of Lake Talkša in Šiauliai. The Lithuanian Book of Records says it is the largest sculpture of an animal: it weighs almost 7 tonnes and is about 15 metres long, 6.6 metres high and 4.15 metres wide. Inside the steel fox's heart (1.20 m high and 0.90 m wide) is a capsule with words for descendants engraved on a copper plate. The Šiauliai designer Vilius Puronas created it to mark the millennium of the name of Lithuania. He joked that Vilnius has the legend of the iron wolf, so Šiauliai could be proud of an iron fox, a symbol of resourcefulness and wisdom. It arrived at Lake Talkša on 23 December 2009.
