A hill fort at the confluence of the Ukmergėlė and the Šventoji, associated with Vilkmergė castle; slopes up to 16 m high.

Ukmergė hill fort stands at the confluence of the Ukmergėlė and the Šventoji and is associated with Vilkmergė castle; it is dated to the fourteenth century to the middle of the fifteenth. The slopes are steep, up to 16 m high, and the round 26 × 30 m platform is ringed by a 85 m long rampart up to 4 m high. By the hill fort there is a 0.5 ha settlement at its foot, and 200 m to the south-west, on a promontory, a bailey was built. In 2003 an expedition of the Lithuanian Institute of History found fragments of wheel-thrown pottery in the settlement. The encyclopedia notes that farming damaged the hill fort.
