A neoclassical church built in 1818 and rebuilt in 1939, with eighteenth-century paintings and a monstrance.

The neoclassical Church of Sts Peter and Paul in Ukmergė was built in 1818 and rebuilt in 1939 (architect V. Michnevičius); a bell tower stands beside it. The church keeps many valuable paintings, among them the Blessed Virgin Mary with a cover (eighteenth century), as well as a Rococo monstrance (eighteenth century) and two nineteenth-century chasubles. It is one of Ukmergė’s churches: the Lithuanian Universal Encyclopedia also mentions the historicist Church of the Holy Trinity (end of the nineteenth century), two synagogues and Orthodox churches. In the Old Believers’ Orthodox church of the Protection of the Mother of God there are icons of the second half of the nineteenth century. The source gives no opening times and tickets.
